Professor Qihua Xiong's group focuses on light-matter interactions in emergent functional materials probed by steady-state and transient optical spectroscopy. His group has two postdoc positions available immediately to work along the following directions: (1) laser cooling of semiconductors and resolved sideband Raman cooling; (2) optical properties of 2D semiconductors and heterostructures; (3) photonic/plasmonic nanolasers and strong light-matter coupling such as exciton polariton using 2D semiconductor and perovskites. Applicants who have research background on laser spectroscopy, semiconductor optics, 2D materials and nonlinear optics are welcome to apply at qihua@ntu.edu.sg with a CV.”
