Abstract: A rigid-flexible coupled virtual prototype of a 1.5MW wind turbine generator system was established in this paper to analysis the dynamic characteristic of the wind turbine. First of all, using Pro/E and Nastran to build the model of wind turbine, and then transfer it into ADAMS to calculate the natural frequency of the total wind turbine. The first 5-order natural frequency and mode shapes are extracted in the paper to show the analyzing effect. The Campbell diagram is used to verify whether the operating frequency of the wind turbine has avoided the natural frequency of the calculation model.
